Extending their successful partnership that began with interfireVR, Stonehouse Media again worked with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives to create Post-Blast VRT, an interactive training tool providing instruction in post-blast investigative procedures. It uses real cases and video scenarios to immerse the user in real-life situations and ask them to properly execute those investigative procedures. The program presents four scenarios in virtual reality, each modeled on an actual bombing. Witnesses can be interviewed, evidence collected and categorized, and damage patterns assessed. A tutorial and a catalog of common explosive device components in their post-blast condition serve as a resource accompanying the scenarios.
