“Your Fire Escape with Safe-T-Bear” is an animated video teaching young children the critical skills needed to prepare, plan, practice, and act on their home escape plan in case of a fire. Along with Safe-T-Bear, Detecta the smoke detector and Squirt the fire hydrant deliver fire safety education to kids ages 5-8 in an approachable, memorable, and empowering way. The video was designed to be appropriate to play in the home, classroom, or at a community meeting. Teachers can also use the DVD in coordination with the NFPA’s Risk Watch® Fire & Burn Prevention curriculum for grades K-2. Stonehouse Media scripted and produced the piece for the Delaware Volunteer Firemen’s Association.
