We developed firearson.com for the International Association of Arson Investigators to serve their members and the fire investigation profession with an engaging, informative site that is integrated with the IAAI’s association management package (MemberSuite) and CFITrainer.Net, IAAI’s online learning network delivering continuing education. Seamlessly, members log into both the IAAI’s MemberSuite portal and to CFITrainer.Net at the same time (single sign on). Login unlocks access to members-only content, populates a CFITrainer.Net dashboard with their training progress on IAAI credentials and CFITrainer.Net programs, and displays basic membership information within the FireArson.com site. Integration also pulls training class session details sourced from MemberSuite into the FireArson.com course catalog for in-person classes and seamlessly transfers the user to MemberSuite to register. The site’s information components include member benefits, how to join, to how apply for certification and other credential applications, chapter contacts, publications (including login-protected full issues of Fire & Arson Investigator journal), and association governance and procedures.
